YubiKey PIN Reset
1.Click on the Start Menu
2. In the search bar type in Sign-In Options
3. Click on Security Key
4. Click on Manage
5. Insert the FIDO key into USB Port and touch the button on the key as directed
6. You will have 2 options: Change Security Key PIN or Reset Security Key:
7. Click on the Reset Security Key and follow the prompts. If everything was done correctly you will see:
8. After the key is reset, open Edge Internet Browser
9. Navigate to https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo if you are using City of Bellevue issued computer it will open automatically for you.
10. Find the Security Key and click Delete:
10. Click on Add Sign-In Method and choose Security Key
11. Follow the prompts:
12. Enter a 6-digit PIN that you can remember. Please do not use any numerical combinations that could be found on social media like your birthday, etc. Cannot use consecutive numbers or repeating numbers.
13. You will see a pop-up box to name your key. You can call the key whatever you wish and click next:
14. You can check to see if the security key was enrolled properly but looking at the list of sign-in methods in the security info and looking for the name you have chosen in step 13.
