AmanoMcgann – Gates show Offline
After launching Card Access and clicking on the ‘Comm’ tab at the top, if COM2 shows ‘Not Connected’ and all of the gates show as ‘Offline…’, there may a problem with the digi controller.
The username is root and the password is in Keeper Security
You may not be able to log in the first time. Try and refresh. Not sure why this is the behavior.
If you cannot log in, there are some steps below to follow.
Once logged in, go to Serial Ports under Management in the left hand navigation
Ports 1 and 3 should have active connections. If so, the Digi card is working normally.
If you are not able to connect to the Digi Web interface, follow these steps;
Log into COBMCGANNPR02 using VMWare and launch the “DeviceDiscoveryUtilityforWindows-Standaloneversionver.1.7.22.0.exe” file on the desktop of the VendMcGann user. This will launch the Utility for the Digi device.

Once logged in, you will be presented with the following screen
Click on the line item for the Digi device and the click on Restart device in the left pane
Wait for the Digi device to come online
With the Digi device line item highlighted, click on Open web interface in the left pane
You may have to refresh a couple of times and log in using the root username
Once confirmed you can access the web interface, click on Connections on the left pane. Wait for active connections. This could take up to 15 minutes
Close Card Access and reboot the COBMCGANNPR02
After reboot, log in and follow the steps to launch Card Access (Run As Administrator) and click on the Comm menu item. It may take a few minutes but the COM2 device should now be communicating and the gates will appear Online. You should also start seeing gate activity
