Microsoft Outlook View and Share Calendar Permissions
This article will walk you through the viewing and sharing Outlook calendar permissions.
Viewing Permissions for Outlook Calendar
1. Open Outlook and click on the "Calendar" tab on the left-hand side navigation pane
2. Click on "Home" and click on "Share Calendar" and "Calendar" on the navigation ribbon
3. The "Calendar Properties" window will open. Click on the "Permissions" tab.
4. Choose the appropriate selection for permissions on your calendar based on your department's policies.
Sharing Permissions for Outlook Calendar
1. Follow until step 3 in the instructions above
2. Click on "Add...". The address book will open and you can search for the contact you are sharing the calendar with. Click "Ok" after you have chosen the contact from the address book.
3. In the "Calendar Properties" select the contact and set the permissions to the desired level of control.
4. Click on "Apply" and click on "Ok" to confirm the changes
