Pairing Lenovo Essentials Wireless Keyboard And Mouse

This article will walk you through the process of pairing the USB receiver to the Lenovo Essentials Wireless Keyboard & Mouse.

There are a few prerequisite steps before you get started:

1. Make sure the Lenovo USB adapter is plugged into your computer or Lenovo docking station

2. Make sure your keyboard and mouse have fresh AA batteries. The keyboard will take 2 AA batteries and the mouse will take 1 AA battery.

How to pair the Lenovo Essentials Wireless keyboard to the USB adapter:

Remove batteries from the back of the keyboard
Press and hold the F2 F3 F4 keys at the same time while inserting the batteries (amber LED is not lit up)
Release the F2 F3 F4 buttons and tap the key 3 once
You will see the amber LED flashing slowly
Place the keyboard near the USB adapter
Amber LED will flash faster and will stop

How to pair the Lenovo Essentials Wireless mouse to the USB adapter:

Turn off the mouse by toggling the on/off switch to off position on the bottom of the mouse
Press and hold the left and middle buttons (mouse wheel), and turn on the mouse (amber LED will not light up)
Release the buttons and tap the middle button once (mouse wheel)
Amber LED will start flashing fast
Place the mouse close to the USB adapter
Amber LED will stop blinking and the mouse will be paired
