Upgrading Your RSA Application
RSA is discontinuing its RSA Authenticate application in favor of its RSA Authenticator (SecurID) application. The RSA Authenticate application already should be installed on your mobile device. You will need to download the new RSA Authenticator (SecurID) application on your device to migrate your information from the old application.
The following steps to upgrade are below. City owned devices should start with step 4 as IT will install the app to your device:
- Open the Apple App Store on your Apple iOS device or Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for RSA Authenticator
- Download/Install the RSA Authenticator (SecurID) application. It is a white icon with a cloud and a blue/white checkmark.
- Open the RSA Authenticator application on your device.
- If prompted, Accept the License Agreement, Deny Anonymous Data Collection, and Get Started
- You will get a message that states that RSA Authenticate is already installed on your device. You would need to tap on "Yes, Migrate"
- You will get a message that migration was successful and that the icon has changed to the RSA App.
- You have successfully migrated your RSA client and you can uninstall the red/white icon called RSA Authenticate if using your personal device
- Please look at the images below for reference.
