F5 VPN Connection for Mac
When working remotely you will need to connect your computer to the VPN. VPN connection will allow you to access any internal applications such as JDE, and Maximo, or access network shared drives like J: and S:
BIG-IP Edge Client application without using a city-issued computer. You will need to connect to a VPN through the Internet browser.
Before making a connection to VPN you need to register for RSA. Instructions for RSA registration are here.
First-time Apple Mac computer VPN Connection
1. Open the web browser of your choice
2. Navigate to the URL http://access.bellevuewa.gov
3. You will be prompted to start or skip Endpoint Inspection. Choose "Start Inspection"
4. Click on "Start inspection". A window will appear with an option to click "Install/Reinstall Endpoint Inspector. Click on "Always allow inspections from this site"
5. Click on "Download" and click on "Allow" to allow downloads from access.bellevuewa.gov

6. After the file mac_f5epi.pkgb is downloaded. Install the file from Finder.
7. Follow the prompts below to install the file
8. You will be prompted to log in with your username, and password. After logging in you will prompted to enter your RSA code.
9. The "Waiting for Network Access Application status" window will appear. Click on "Install/Reinstall Network Access Application"
10. Click on "Download" in the "Network Access" window
12. Install mac_f5vpn.pkg from Finder and follow all the prompts
11. Click on the "VPN Access icon" and approve the prompts below. Click on "Start" and "Always Allow"
12. The window below will appear to indicate successful connection
Connecting to VPN on Apple Mac Computer:
1. Open the web browser of your choice
2. Navigate to the URL http://access.bellevuewa.gov

4. You will be prompted to log in with your username, and password. After logging in you will prompted to enter your RSA code.
5. Click on the "VPN Access icon" and approve the prompts below. Click on "Start" and "Always Allow"
6. The window below will appear to indicate successful connection
