F5 VPN Client Connection

When working remotely you will need to connect your computer to the VPN. VPN connection will allow you to access any internal applications such as JDE, and Maximo, and access network shared drives like J: and S:

You will need to have F5 VPN BIG-IP Edge Client installed on your City of Bellevue computer, and you will need to register for RSA multifactor authentication.

Here are the instructions on how to connect to VPN through BIG-IP Edge Client:

Press the Start Menu button and search for BIG-IP Edge Client
Run the application. If it is being opened for the first time, there will be a couple of progress bars downloading updates and configurations.
Click on the "Connect"
A login screen will appear, asking for a username and password. Enter the username and password that you use to log into your computer.
If information is entered successfully, you will receive a prompt to your "OTP Code" which is your 8-digit RSA code that you will get from the "Authenticate" application installed on your cell phone or computer.
Upon successful connection the BIG-IP Edge window will disappear and move to your taskbar.
To test your connection, you can open "File Explorer" and see if you can access any network drives. They might have the red "X" next to the name, however, if you click on them, they should connect.
