Adding Calendar from Public Folders
Certain calendars for Development Services, Police, and Fire departments are hosted locally by IT Department. Those calendars are located in the Public Folder structure within Outlook.
Prior to accessing the calendars, you will need to place a ticket to support for access with approval from your supervisor.
Ticket can be placed through few different methods:
After IT Support has provided you with access, please follow these steps:
- Open Outlook application
- In Outlook you will click on "More Apps" icon located on the left-hand side pane right under blue check mark for the "To-Do"
- Next you will click on "Folders" icon on the expanded "More Apps" menu
- You will see "Public Folders - "youremail@bellevuewa.gov". You would want to click on it to expand it, and click on "All Public Folders" to expand that list further.
- From the expanded list choose your department and the calendar you are looking for.
- To have the calendar appear in your list of calendars. You would want to right click on the calendar and click on "Add to Favorites..."
- New prompt will appear, and you will click on Add.
- Calendar can now be located under the "Calendars" tab in Outlook.
